On August 23, Little Big Recycling had the privilege of supporting the Eastern Slopes Music Festival, a vibrant event that brought over 400 people together to celebrate music, community, and sustainability. With a clear goal in mind—to generate no more than one bag of trash—this festival was a shining example of what’s possible when thoughtful waste management meets passionate event coordination.
🎶 Music, Sunshine & Minimal Waste
Set against a backdrop of clear skies and bright sunshine, the atmosphere was filled with energy and connection. LBR proudly donated recycling, organics, and waste bins, along with clear signage to guide festival-goers on how to dispose of their materials responsibly. A dedicated volunteer sorted all collected materials to ensure maximum diversion—and the results speak for themselves.

- ♻️ A 71% waste diversion rate was achieved
- 🧴 Dozens of bottles were collected and recycled, not trashed
