Spring is in the air! And for many people, the warming weather is a cue to throw open the windows and break out the duster. Cleaning a result in a lot of extra waste, whether through the disposal of unwanted items or cleaning products themselves! By making some simple swaps and keeping the three R’s (reduce, reuse, recycle) in mind, you can minimize your impact on the environment and maximize your spring cleaning!

Spring Cleaning Tips

DIY Cleaning Spray 

Materials:

    • 1 spray bottle
    • 1 cup white distilled vinegar
    • 1 cup filtered water
    • 10 drops lemon essential oil (or sub your favorite)

Instructions:
Combine vinegar, water, and essential oil in the spray bottle and mix.

Notes:
Let sit 1-5 minutes for tougher messes and to disinfect

Not recommended for use on granite, marble, or hardwood surfaces!
